Tulsa sex crimes detectives have arrested a 16-year-old they say committed a string of burglaries and robberies, most of them involving sexual assaults -- including an attack on a Union High School student in late January.
Police found Dayquan Williams in the Stonegate Village Apartments near 71st and Mingo Thursday, but say he ran from them.
He didn't get far; officers from the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force ran him down after a brief foot chase.
Detectives arrested him on suspicion of a string of crimes, according to TPD, who sent this list to KRMG:
- November 17, 2013, Sugarberry Apartments, located at 10900 E. 61st Street. 1st Degree Burglary and Assault & Battery.
- November 23, 2013, Greens of Bedford Apartments, located at 10600 E. 66th Street. 1st Degree Burglary and Sexual Battery.
- December 3, 2013, Agora Coffee Shop, located at 4959 S. 79th E. Avenue. Armed Robbery, Sexual Battery x 2 and Forcible Oral Sodomy
- January 29, 2014, in the area of 9000 E. 71st Street. Attempted Robbery and Forcible Oral Sodomy.
Williams will be charged with the following crimes:
- 1 count of kidnapping
- 3 counts of forceable sodomy
- 3 counts of sexual battery
- 1 count of armed robbery
- 1 count of attempted armed robbery
- 2 counts first degree burglary
- 1 count of first degree rape
- 1 count of assault and battery
- 1 count of resisting arrest
Williams was also in trouble for being out after curfew.
