Top Google search terms by state casts a revealing light on residents

The real estate blog Estately dug through the Google Trends database to determine which search terms each state searches for more than any other.

The results are a revealing look into what our friends and neighbors search for and are both revealing and in some cases, a little disturbing.

According to the article the top searches (in alphabetical order) in Oklahoma are:

• Obama Muslim
• Pat Robertson
• PT Cruiser

The searches in other states give us a peek in to what residents there have on their minds, like these from Florida:

Meanwhile, users in Washington D.C. are searching for the types of things you would probably expect from those in our nation’s capital:

• Democratic Party
