Tip helps officers get a confession from robbery suspect

A tip from a concerned citizen helped Tulsa officers catch a robbery suspect on Thursday.

Police say they were told to look at Chayne Easky for an attempted robbery at a Taco Bueno, and an actual robbery at a nearby Walgreens.

The first robbery happened around 10:30 am on May 21st, at a Taco Bueno near 31st and Sheridan.

Easky walked into the store and demanded cash.  Police say he implied he had a gun.

Despite his threat, the manager didn't give him any money, so Easky left the store.

Just 20 minutes later, Easky used a note to demand Xanax from a pharmacist at a 31st and Harvard Walgreens.  This time, he did get away with pills.

After voluntarily coming in to answer questions on Thursday, Easky admitted his guilt.  He's now at the Tulsa County Jail.
