Three juveniles arrested after stolen car chase by Tulsa Police, OHP

Tulsa police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested three juveniles who were trying to get away in a stolen car during an OHP and TPD pursuit early Wednesday.

The chase went on for over a mile eastbound on I-244 from near Sheridan Road to near Memorial Drive before the driver crashed into a gas station sign near Admiral and South 78th East Avenue.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Darren Bristow says, "Two of the individuals ran on foot. One was apprehended very shortly after attempting to run. The other one was captured about three blocks away in the back yard of a house by Tulsa PD's canine."

One of the suspects was taken to the hospital for treatment to possible injuries sustained in the crash.

All three boys eventually were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
