The campaign hasn't been specific about the threat or how it was received. But KRMG has obtained the following statement from the Taylor campaign concerning the situation.
"We have been advised against supplying specific details regarding the nature of the threat, however we have all of the confidence in the Tulsa Police Department to quickly identify and question the person responsible.
In the mean time, former Mayor Kathy Taylor continues to meet with Tulsans and share her back to basics plans to reduce crime, improve education, grow jobs and return accountability to City Hall."
This isn’t the first incident during the run-up to the election.
Two weeks ago one of the windows at a Taylor campaign headquarters was shot out.
Taylor campaign officials confirm to KRMG that they will continue with their normal schedule while being as cautious as possible.
