TFD seeks help identifying arson suspect in apartment fire

The Tulsa Fire Department has asked the public's help in identifying the suspect in an arson at a Tulsa apartment complex.

Tulsa Fire Department spokesman Stan May says the incident happened at the Boulder Plaza Apartment complex at E. 18th St. and S. Boulder Ave. early on Sept. 30th.

Surveillance footage from a convenience store shows a possible suspect purchasing a gas can.

May says, "The same man is then captured by the Boulder Plaza surveillance system pouring gasoline in the lobby, igniting it and fleeing the scene."

Anyone with information can call the Arson Hotline at (918) 596-2776.

Callers can remain anonymous and if an arrest is made and charges are filed, the caller may be eligible for a cash reward.

The fire caused extensive damage, but no one was injured.
