A new school year begins in Moore this week just 12 weeks after the devastating May 20 tornado.
Teachers will report to school this morning to get an update on the recovery of the school district.
Superintendent Robert Romines will welcome 1,450 Moore Public School teachers to the 2013-2014 school year.
Romines will also give an update about changes to the locations of some administrative facilities and resources that are available from national support organizations.
Classes are scheduled to resume on Friday.
Officials say the district has 750 more students than were enrolled for the 2012-2013 school year.
Storms that stuck the area on May 20 and May 31 damaged 23 of 36 sites in the Moore school district.
