Teacher gets probation after cartwheel without underwear

PAWHUSKA, Okla. — A judge handed down the sentence for the former Pawhuska substitute teacher on Monday.

Lacey Sponsler is accused of exposing herself to students when she did a cartwheel while wearing a long skirt but no underwear in February.

Sponsler pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of indecent exposure.

She was given a two year suspended sentence and can't teach for two years.

The former educator will not have to register as a sex offender.
