Suspect throws object at vehicle containing child

A woman's vehicle is hit by a beverage container Wednesday evening.

Tulsa police say the object hit the vehicles rear right window.  The woman's 10-month-old child was sitting in the seat by the window, but wasn't harmed.

Officers say it could have been a tragic situation.

Troy Taylor was tracked down by police a short time later.  He did have an excuse for throwing the beverage container.

"I threw a pop bottle at them because they broke my house window with a rock," Taylor told police.

He's currently in the Tulsa County Jail.  Taylor faces one count of throwing an object at a motor vehicle.
