Sand Springs, Okla. - A thief worked really hard to get the password to a stolen computer, and ended up arrested for his troubles.
Sand Springs police say they were called out late Sunday night for a stolen computer.
The victim told officers her neighbor, Frank Sudduth, may have taken the computer.
Police say they were told Sudduth texted the victim multiple times asking for the computer's password. He's said to have told the victim he was with security and needed the password for his records.
Sudduth didn't stop there.
He went over to the victim's place dressed in his roommate's police gear, again asking for the password.
At first, Sudduth denied stealing the computer when confronted by officers. Before long, he confessed to the theft stating, "his life was ruined due to his actions."
Sudduth was taken to the Tulsa County Jail. He faces counts of burglary and false impersonation of a peace officer.
