Tulsa, Okla. - Police use pepper balls to get an armed robbery suspect to exit his bathroom Saturday evening after they track him down to his home.
Tulsa police say the suspect is accused of robbing the Walgreens near 51st and Lewis around 7:30 p.m. He walked into the store, implied he had a gun and demanded Oxicontin.
A witness jotted down the male suspect's license plate as he fled the store with the drugs.
Officers were able to get an address from the license plate and headed over to the home. Police say the suspect locked himself in the bathroom when TPD arrived.
When he didn't come out, officers then used the pepper balls and took him into custody.
Police say before he could be taken to jail, the suspect had a seizure and was taken to an area hospital.
