Suspect brings woman to town for prostitution

A Kansas woman thinks she's headed to Tulsa in order to start fresh.

It turned out, Demetric Jackson had something else in mind for her.

Police say Jackson was busted Wednesday night at the Tudor House Inn near Admiral and Sheridan, for human trafficking.

The victim told officers Jackson had made her become a prostitute.

He's said to have posted ads on Backpage.com, offering out the victim for dates.  Police say she went out on at least 10 dates.

The victim's problems didn't stop there.

She told officers Jackson took all of her money, threatened to hit her, and provided her with drugs.

Jackson is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.

Missouri records show he's on probation for a prior conviction.
