There was also some tornado damage Sunday in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, east of Oklahoma City. Meteorologist Mark Plate with the National Weather Service office in Tulsa tells us officials will be out to survey the damage that was done in the Wellston, Oklahoma, area and near Edmond, Oklahoma, in Oklahoma County. "Both of those tornadoes, the Edmond and the Wellston tornadoes, were from the same thunderstorm. It was a different thunderstorm that produced the tornado damage around Shawnee and back to Bethel Acres." Plate tells us there was another tornado yesterday in Okfuskee County. "We're pretty confident that there was a tornado into the northwestern part of Okfuskee County. We're going to have survey teams out in the field today looking for any damage in that area." The KRMG Storm Center will be staffed and ready to cover any more storms that could come along today. Be sure to be listening to FM 102.3 and AM 740 Newstalk/KRMG throughout the day.
