Superintendent to keep job after ‘skanks and hos’ comment

(NOBLE, Okla.) - The Noble Public School Board voted Tuesday night 3 to 1 in favor of keeping Superintendent Rhonda Bass.

The controversy started in the central Oklahoma district after students reported that Superintendent Bass sexually harassed them while wearing short-shorts.

The students say Bass went into classrooms on the second day of the school year to inspect for inappropriate clothing.

The girls say the school leader pointed out what was wrong with their clothes in front of their peers, and then took them out into the hallway where Bass made the girls bend over.

Some teens say Superintendent Bass asked if they had ever seen any ‘skanks or hos’ around school.

The board says they will look at professional development for Superintendent Bass.

The school district website says Bass is a Veteran of the United States Air Force where she specialized in Signals Intelligence and Morse Code Interception during the Persian Gulf War.
