Tulsa police believe it may be a homeless man who keeps burglarizing business locations near East 11th Street and Garnett Road. We're told that a Tulsa police officer was watching about 1:41 a.m. Tuesday when a man tried to burglarize the Warehouse Market at 1245 South Garnett Road. The grocery store was broken into on July 24th, but only small items were taken. A board had been used to replace the broken glass. This morning, a suspect tried to get inside the store by using a rock to knock away the board, but he failed. Police used a canine and a helicopter to try to find him, but he escaped by running away into a nearby water retention area. Other stores in the same area that have been burglarized recently include a Subway sandwich shop. We're told the restaurant has been the target of a burglary four times in the past two weeks. A Hispanic grocery store next door to the Subway shop has been burglarized at least once recently.
