Tulsa, Okla. - The tradeoff for the warm, sunny springlike days we've enjoyed lately is a few springlike showers and storms.
The good news, says News on 6 meteorologist Alan Crone, is that the storms are not expected to be severe, and drought-stricken Green Country could certainly use the rain.
"We do see a few echoes on the radar across southern Oklahoma," Alan said. "We'll have increasing cloud cover this afternoon, temperatures in the 60's."
He says the chance of scattered showers and storms will start after midnight tonight.
Tomorrow, he says the chance of scattered showers and storms will continue across central and northern Oklahoma during the mid-morning and early afternoon hours.
Friday, the sunny weather returns, he says, but then there's a chance of more rain and storms during the weekend.
