Storm damage survey shows south Tulsa to Grand Lake area affected

Storms damage reports from overnight include a handful of locations in northeast Oklahoma.

Mike Teague at the National Weather Service office in Tulsa tells us strong winds and heavy rain came through, along with a few tornadoes.

"Far south Tulsa Bixby Broken Arrow triangle, there some trees into some homes. Some pretty substantial home damage there," Teague said. 

He tells us the worst damage was in Mayes County from Spavinaw over to just east of Grove near Grand Lake where some homes were destroyed.
