Stillwater man slams into tree, dies at hospital

We've learned a Stillwater man has succumbed to injuries suffered in a Payne County crash Thursday night.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol announced on Saturday Cale Drumm had died the previous day at the hospital.  He had sustained head and other injuries in the crash.

Drumm is said to have lost control of his 1967 Ford Mustang, on a county road just outside of Stillwater.  OHP say he went into a slide from driving too fast and ended up crashing into the tree.

No other cars were involved in the crash.

Drumm was also the only person in his Mustang.
