Sonic employee robbed while taking out the trash

A Sonic employee is robbed at gunpoint while taking the trash out early Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 1:05 a.m.

Tulsa police say the suspect made the employee go back into the store located near 31st and 129th.  The suspect took the employees wallet and cash from the store.

From there, he took of on foot out the backdoor.

Police say a K-9 officer was able to track the suspect, but the trail ended where they believe the suspect had a vehicle waiting.

Nobody was hurt during the armed robbery.  No word if other employees where in the store as well.

The suspect is a white male, young, thin, 6-ft-1, and was sporting a mullet.
