Software glitch delays several Jenks buses

Some Jenks students are getting home a little later than planned this afternoon, thanks to a first-day computer problem.

An issue with the district's routing software means some bus riders arrived home 20-30 minutes late.

The glitch kept some bus riders from figuring out their bus number.

School officials did send a text message to parents to give them a heads up and transportation officials made sure every student got on the right bus.
