Low water levels at Lake Eufaula last week due to the drought conditions exposed the skeletal remains of two people.
Pittsburg County Sheriff Joel Kerns tells us that forensic experts from the state Medical Examiner's office arrived on Tuesday to excavate the bones, which included two skulls.
Kerns says several visitors to the lake called to report the remains.
He says he's hopeful that the teeth could lead to a positive identification.
Kerns says the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation also was called to assist in the investigation.
