Singing fish prevents robbery

Hooked on Fishing bait and tackle shop in Rochester, Minn. was broken into on Sunday night.

KTTC says the owner showed up Monday morning to find the front door broken and Billy Bass on the floor.

Billy had also been on the wall next to the door and would sing “Take Me to the River” when people walked by.

Police think the man broke through the door and was probably startled by the singing fish.

The best part: he didn’t even take any money. Police mentioned the cash was sitting in a “very visible spot.”

Locals are hailing Billy Bas a hero for taking one for the team.
