Tulsa police are investigating after a shotgun blast during a disturbance at a gas station at 31st and Yale early Wednesday. We're told an argument was reported to police that included gunfire at the Phillips station about 1:06 a.m. Two suspects left the scene in a car on the Broken Arrow Expressway and crashed into a retaining wall at the Sheridan Road overpass.
Tulsa Police Captain Mike Eckert tells us "a witness to that collision saw at least one person possibly two get out of that car, one jumped over the retaining wall which is rather a significant drop."
We're told that was the driver, but the witness lost sight of the passenger.
Eckert says police found information inside the car and are searching for the other suspect.
"We attempted with (the) helicopter and canine to track from the car but we were unsuccessful in finding the suspect. However we did find an article of clothing that he left behind."
The victim was located by police in north Tulsa.
"We were able to interview the victims. We do have a story that ties all of these incidents together and we will see how all of this plays out as the investigation continues."
No one was injured in the shooting.
