Sexual fetish event planned at OKC library, could happen in Tulsa

Earlier this week, KRMG told you about an Oklahoma City group hosting a fetish event where adult attendees wear diapers.

That event takes place at a southwest Oklahoma City library and the library is fine with it.

KRMG asked Tulsa library officials if that could happen here. Laurie Sundborg with the Tulsa City-County Library says, "As long as they fit our criteria... It's primarily intended for non-profit, civic and cultural groups."

Sundborg says  room requests are generally handled on a case by case basis. Sundborg says, "There are a variety of reasons that we would book or would not book a group depending on what the event is related to."

Parties, receptions and similar events are generally not allowed to rent a room.

Sundborg says the Oklahoma City event would most likely be denied because it bills itself as a party.
