Sex offender wanted for robbery, beating

Wagoner County deputies are looking for a registered sex offender for his possible involvement in a robbery and beating in Catoosa Saturday morning.

Deputies say 38-year-old Charles Matthew Powell and another male suspect are accused of robbing a man and then leaving him beaten in the roadway.

Powell was convicted of second-degree rape in 1999.

He's described as 6-Ft-3, white, short black hair, and has tattoos.  Deputies say he was last seen driving a green vehicle and may be with his girlfriend Bailey.
