TULSA, Okla. - A severe thunderstorm packing torrential rains and 70 mile an hour winds has left a path of destruction in the Tulsa area.
Some of the most significant damage was seen at Conrad Farms on 151st St. just west of Memorial. The metal roof and siding was sheared off of the building. Several power lines are down in the area.
On the Broken Arrow Expressway, a 40-foot light pole fell onto the eastbound lanes. A truck pulling a horse trailer hit the pole, damaging the truck. A pair of cars also hit some debris in the area causing flat tires.
Much of the damage was along Memorial Rd. At 51st and Memorial, several trees were toppled in the Fontana Shopping Center. A shed in the parking lot also received some significant damage.
Further south on Memorial, a large tree fell, blocking the southbound lanes.
Over at 91st and Mingo, a tree is blocking the exit to the Shadow Ridge neighborhood. Also in that neighborhood, a trampoline was blown from a backyard into a nearby fence, damaging both.
On several highways in the Tulsa area, drivers are finding plenty of orange cones and barrels in various lanes.
