The Oklahoma Department of Health just released the new flu deaths numbers for Tulsa County Thursday morning.
Records show there have now been two deaths in Tulsa County since December 19.
State health leaders won’t release specifics about the victims.
They will say the number of people hospitalized in Tulsa County is 67.
That's more than triple the number of cases than any other county.
There have been 21 people hospitalized in Oklahoma County.
The flu is still not considered widespread in Oklahoma.
The Centers for Disease Control says the flu is widespread in Texas.
This year is expected to be much worse than the last couple of years.
Influenza-like illness is defined as having a fever combined with a cough and a sore throat.
