Second crash happens after driver runs across highway

A second traffic crash happens near the Broken Arrow Expressway and I-44 interchange after a driver violates the scene of the first crash.

Police were investigating a wreck near 31st and Sheridan about 10:30 p.m. Sunday when the driver drove through the scene and proceded onto the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Tulsa Police Captain Laurel Ledbetter says a man "runs one way across the highway, sees some officers, turns around and goes back across the highway."

Ledbetter tells us that's when the second accident happened.

The man who ran across the highway was arrested.

No one was injured in either crash.
