Sapulpa teenager arrested for having weapons on Jenks school property

A teenager was taken to the Tulsa County jail after Jenks High School security police found several weapons inside his truck.

Jenks Campus Police reported that 19-year Isaac Paul Bell of Sapulpa was parked on the south campus parking lot when he was arrested just before 2 p.m. on Friday.

Police spotted two large knife handles when he opened the door of his truck.

We're told Bell gave police permission to search his truck.

Police say they found a .22 caliber Jennings handgun under the back seat of Bell's vehicle.

The clip inside the gun contained six rounds of ammunition, but the gun chamber did not contain a bullet.

We're told Bell stated to police that he uses the handgun to "kill small animals on the farm."

As officers continued to search the vehicle they found five large knives, two air pistols and a metal bat.

Bell said the metal bat was there for his "protection."

Police say Bell also had a box knife in his pocket.

Police say Bell is not a student at Jenks schools.
