Robbery attempt made, pharmacist refuses

Tulsa police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Walgreen's pharmacy at Pine and Sheridan.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Steve Stoltz tells us a man wanted the pharmacist to give him a controlled drug.

"The pharmacist said it didn't register that they were being robbed at first because the guy came up and asked for some oxycodone and the pharmacist said 'you need your prescription' and he said 'well I don't have one.'"

Stoltz also told us that nothing was taken from the scene during the incident that happened about 8 p.m. Thursday.
Stoltz summarized the event as "a case of a novice robber and a novice victim."
