Road construction not delayed by winter weather

The recent winter weather did not put the brakes on any road construction projects.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation officials tell KRMG that they plan for bad weather. ODOT spokesperson Kenna Carmon says, "Certainly the contractor does antcipate that there are some days that they won't be able to work because of the weather."

ODOT says the winter weather didn't have a big impact because crews were still able to get some work done once the snow stopped falling.
