Restaurant employee hides crooks getaway car, foils robbery

It was brilliant from the start.
When two men decided to rob a Burger King one of their plans was to leave the car running outside for a quick getaway.
But when they came out, their car was gone.
One of the restaurant employees saw what was happening and quickly came up with a plan. He ran outside, jumped in the car and hid it around the block.
When the bad guys came outside they were left with no option other than to hoof it.
Police ran down 19 year old Gabriel Gonzalez, and Jeremy Lovitt, 23,shortly afterward  in a nearby field.
A cop in Stockton told CBS in Sacramento "I haven’t heard of any employee actually leaving a business, getting inside the suspect vehicle, and trying to hide it."
The would-be crooks will be charged with robbery.
