A pair of suspects get caught by four residents trying to break into two vehicles early Saturday morning.
Tulsa police say it happened around 3:30 a.m., near 41st and 121st East Avenue.
There were many people living inside the home, so there were a lot of vehicles in the drive-way.
Police say the residents have had past issues with vehicle burglaries, so they were being vigilant when they spotted the two suspects.
The four residents ran outside and were able to grab one of the suspects and keep him until officers could arrive.
Police say the second suspect took off on foot, but wasn't gone for long. He returned a short time later to recover his getaway vehicle, parked near the home.
Before he took off in the vehicle, it's believed he fired one shot into the air.
Police say one of the residents got into a vehicle and followed the suspect. This didn't last for very long.
Once the resident caught up with the suspect, police say the suspect backed his vehicle into the resident's vehicle multiple times.
The resident didn't get hurt, but stopped his pursuit.
Police say they have one 17-year-old in custody and are questioning him about the other suspect who got away.
