Since Sunday, there have been four robberies at Tulsa QuikTrip stores.
KRMG spoke with QT’s Mike Thornbrugh about how the company deals with security.
“The surveillance equipment we have as a company, I mean, it’s top-notch,” Thornbrugh said.
“You can be seen and you can be heard anywhere, and they’re all monitored by QuikTrip 24 hours a day.” he added.
We asked some QT customers how they feel about the recent robberies, most of them told us they’re not too concerned.“There’s plenty of cops here, there’s plenty of people. It doesn’t seem that unsafe to me,” one said
Another customer said she doesn’t think it’s an issue considering how long she’s in the store.“Popping in and out, getting gas and stuff it’s not likely to happen.”
