TULSA, Ok — Heavy rain and storms will move through Green Country this morning and most of the day.
As the rain chances stick around , some areas in the metro could see above 2 inches with other locations outside Tulsa likely to be drenched by 4 to 5 inches.
That amount of rain brings the threat of widespread flooding around the state.
Included in today’s unsettled pattern is a chance for hail and high winds in some locations. While the chance for tornado's is low in northeastern Oklahoma those possibilities rise south of interstate 40 and in the Pittsburgh county area.
By tonight most of the rain should be moving out with a chilly weekend ahead.
