Power outages continue to impact Tulsa area

Power outages continue to cause problems for folks in Tulsa and surrounding counties, but PSO is making good progress on getting power restored to its customers.

As of Noon on Sunday, PSO had reduced the number of customers without power in Tulsa County to around 2,300.

That number was as high as 5,000 customers at Noon on Saturday.

State-wide, about 7,600 customers are in the dark.

PSO crews had to shut down Mingo south of 101st St to repair a downed power pole that caused hundreds of outages in the immediate area.
