Police use gas to end six-hour standoff

Multiple agencies work together during a six-hour standoff on Saturday in Claremore to catch two suspects.

Claremore police say the standoff began around 10 a.m., when officers noticed a house near Blue Starr and N. Faulkner being burglarized.

The officers went to investigate and this caused Mathew Smalley and Candace Marshall to lock themselves inside the home.

Police say Tulsa tactical units were called out to the scene to assist.

Officers ended up using gas to get the two suspects out of the home.

They're both currently in the Rogers County Jail.
