Police track down molestation suspect in Mexico

Detectives receive a tip leading to the arrest of a man wanted for molestation.

Tulsa police say the Crime Stopper's tip helped officers find Brent Deckard in Mexico City.

"Our Fugitive Warrants Squad worked directly with the U.S. Marshals Service to verify the information," police say.  "The tip information was accurate and the U.S. Marshals were able to locate and apprehend Deckard in Mexico City."

Deckard has since been extradited back to the United States.  Police say he has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail.

Tulsa court records show Deckard was a substitute teacher in Mounds and Sapulpa.  It is during this time he met his victims.

Court records show one of his former students became friends with the suspect.  The 14-year-old boy told police they would go back to Deckard's place where the victim would be given pills and alcohol before being molested.

There is also cellphone video of Deckard molesting other boys.  Court records show his roommate and other people witnessed the video.

Deckard remains in jail.

He facing numerous counts including lewd molestation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
