Police rescue woman trapped by her girlfriend

Officers thought they were responding to a domestic call when they arrived at a home near Aspen and Houston.

It turned out, the domestic call was more of a kidnapping.

Broken Arrow police say nobody answered the door when they knocked.  So, they listened closely and could hear a woman calling out for help.

The officers then kicked in the door and located Ashlee Larson and her unidentified girlfriend.

Police say the girlfriend showed obvious signs of being assaulted, and Larson was on top of her girlfriend holding her down.

The victim told officers Larson had trapped her inside the bedroom and wouldn't let her leave.

Police say Larson wasn't ready to go into custody quietly. She continued to assault her girlfriend and refused to be put into handcuffs.

Eventually, Larson was subdued and was booked into the Tulsa County Jail Tuesday afternoon.

She faces counts of kidnapping, domestic assault and battery, and resisting arrest.
