Police pursuit suspect arrested for kidnapping

Sun, Oct 29, 2017 — A man was arrested on Saturday in Wagoner County in connection with a kidnapping and a pursuit.

Sheriff’s office report Lonnie Replogle turned around at a checkpoint on Friday.

“Deputies initiated a pursuit that ended in the area of 333rd E Ave and E 241st St South after deputies lost sight of the truck on the gravel road,” sheriff’s office said.  “ The truck was located crashed into a tree in a field approximately one mile south of the area the pursuit ended but the suspect(s) had fled.

Replogle wasn’t on the loose for very long.

Investigators received a report that a woman was being held against her will in the Redbird area of Wagoner County. Deputies arrived at the scene and took Replogle into custody.

Investigators add the kidnapping victim tied Replogle to the pursuit.

“The victim told deputies Replogle kidnapped her from Highway 51 and East 141st Street South in the Coweta area yesterday morning,” sheriff’s office said.  “The victim told deputies she and Replogle were in the red Chevy pickup that eluded deputies the evening prior. The truck in the pursuit was confirmed to be owned by Replogle.”

He has been booked into the Wagoner County Jail.
