Police, Hazmat respond to shots fired call

A man is shot in the leg when an unknown suspect fires multiple shots late Saturday night.

Tulsa police told KRMG it happened around 10:45 p.m. near East 16th Place and South 130th East Avenue.

Multiple people in the area called 911 with complaints of shots being heard in the area.

When officers arrived the shots stopped and the shooter wasn't found.

Police said the unknown suspect fired his weapon, hitting a gas tank and a man's leg.

Hazmat were called out to the scene to take care of the gas leak.

Police said the victim refused to provide a description of the shooter.
