A man will face several charges including DUI, eluding police and a possible warrant for his arrest after leading Tulsa police on a chase on the Broken Arrow Expressway Thursday night.
We're told that police had made a traffic violation stop near 15th and Sheridan about 10:55 p.m.
When the officer approached the car, he saw that the two occupants were shouting at each other and the driver immediately drove away.
Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon tells us that a female passenger got out of the car when the driver slowed down during the chase just a short distance from where it began.
"We were unable to locate her so we don't know for sure what was going on just prior to the car stop or the reason why she was in the vehicle to begin with," Solomon said.
The chase was terminated in downtown Tulsa, but the driver was located a short time later near 21st and South Boulder Avenue.
"We did see the driver get out of the vehicle and run across Veteran's Park. At that time, we took the suspect into custody."
