Police arrest a diamond in the rough

It wasn't hard for Tulsa officers to identify a stabbing suspect Wednesday night.

Police say the victim described Jason Arce perfectly.

Everything started around 2 p.m., near 11th and Garnett.

The victim and his relative were driving in their uncle's truck when they stopped at a light.  Police say this is when Arce approached the victim.

Arce is accused of elbowing the victim and then stabbing him multiple times.  He then fled the scene in a 4-door car.

The victim was able to describe Arce because of his many tattoos.  He noted the suspect had diamond tattoos around his eyes.

Officers tracked Arce down to the Executive Inn around 8:40 p.m.  Arce denied having anything to do with the earlier incident.

There was just a couple of holes in his story.

The vehicle used in the stabbing was at the motel.  Plus, Arce had the same tattoos on his face.

He was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail.

No word on the condition of the victim.
