Plans for Broken Arrow hotel, conference center move forward

Plans for such a facility began back in 2004 when Broken Arrow voters approved the bond issue that would pay for it.

Things got put on hold as Broken Arrow exploded with growth in the last 10 years. Now, the bond language has been updated to ensure the facility can meet the needs of today’s Broken Arrow.

Stoney Creek Hospitality was named by the city a few months back when the new version of the project was announced. Now, the hotel chain has officially been chosen as the developer.

In the coming weeks, Broken Arrow officials will continue working with Stoney Creek Hospitality to finalize the plans for the facility.

The space will be utilized for business meetings, conferences or trade shows. Weddings are also common there.
