A pilot for Air India left the cockpit to visit the little pilot’s room After completing his business he strolled back to the cockpit door and turned the handle.
Nothing.
He tried again, still nothing. The co-pilot who was still in the cockpit began to help. Nope, still can’t get the door open.
The flight that took off from Delhi was supposed to touch down in Bangalore but after landed instead at Bhopal to so someone could find some WD-40 for the door.
Air India released a statement saying “the door had got jammed and all efforts to open the door, even from inside by the co-pilot, failed."
It took maintenance crews about three hours to fix the issue and send the plane and its passengers on their way.
