Cheyenne, WY - Frontier Airlines flight 719 was headed to Reagan International airport when bad weather forced it to land in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Pilot Gerhard Bradner decided he was hungry, and figured his passengers were too.
"If the need arises you need to take care of your family; you need to take care of your passengers,” Bradner told KUSA-TV.
“They are my responsibility the moment they step on the aircraft until they get off the aircraft."
Bradner got a huge cheer when he used the intercom to announce 50 Dominos pizzas were on their way.
Bradner may have been a hero, but he was a hungry one.
When the pies arrived, he was busy getting the aircraft ready to continue the flight once they were cleared.
