Pedestrian hit by truck, is in critical condition

A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Friday morning.

Tulsa police say they received the call around 6 a.m. for an auto-pedestrian collision near 81st and Sheridan.

The unnamed victim was carrying a Mickey Mouse doll as he crossed the street and was struck by truck.  Police say the victim was thrown several feet onto the sidewalk.

He has multiple injuries and was transported to an area hospital.  Police didn't have an update on his condition.

The driver of the vehicle wasn't hurt in the collision.  Police say he wasn't cited because the victim was jaywalking.
