Parents arrested for binding and beating nine year old

Police say the boy was tied by the hands and feet to a door and then beaten repeatedly. So hard in fact, that blood splattered on the wall behind where he was tied.

"It's as bad on a beating like this it's as bad as we've ever seen" Tulsa police told the News on Six.

“Scabbed over places, fresh wounds that were still bleeding.”

Arrested were the boy’s father and step-mother Eulalio Rangel and Andrea Lang. Both are being held on charges of child abuse and neglect.

Police say if it weren’t for relatives noticing, and reporting the injuries it might have been even worse.

“No doubt that boy would have continued to be very deliberately beat” they began. “Possibly down the road even worse than that, even death or they something, they may have killed him.”

Cops say the Rangel told them the boy had acted up on the school bus and needed to be disciplined.
