Owasso City Council to meet concerning city manager

Owasso City Manager Rodney Ray could be fired at a special meeting of the Owasso City Council Tuesday evening.

Rodney Ray has been under investigation for over a month now after he ordered that a video be erased of a police stop involving Owasso City Councilor and Vice Mayor Chris Kelley.

We're told that police believed Kelley was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the arrest last February.

Ray also is accused of writing a bad check, then filing a false police report about it and taking a private donation from a police officer, but failing to handle it properly.

Ray's current contract expires next year.
