The Okmulgee City Council voted Tuesday night to comply with the state's new Open Carry Law.
Gun owners can now bring pistols and revolvers with them into the city limits.
The council continues to hold their ground though on Bowie knives, daggers and other deadly weapons.
They are still not allowed in Okmulgee.
